Vancouver Dining: Mother’s Day Brunch Spots #onRobson

With Mother’s Day fast approaching, the days to plan something are slipping away and the panic is starting to settle in. What can you possibly get the woman who raised you and loved you all these years and who never seems to want or need a single thing? Might we suggest a little quality time with your mama to connect over a delicious meal. Let someone else do the cooking and dirty dishes, mom deserves a break. Below are a few of our fave brunch spots #onRobson…be sure to make your resos pronto.

Abode – 1223 Robson St.

Abode has an extensive brunch menu, but this Mother’s Day they are featuring a delectable Strawberry French Toast stuffed with citrus whipped cream cheese for $14. And what’s better, Mimosas are $5 all day and they have four fruity options to choose from (yep, you read that right, FOUR). Mimosa options include: Sunshine Mimosa (OJ + Sparkling Wine), Tropical Mimosa (OJ + Pineapple Juice + Sparkling Wine), Ruby Mimosa (OJ + Cranberry Juice + Sparkling Wine), and the Greyhound Mimosa (Grapefruit Juice + Sparkling Wine). Grab a booth by the window or take in the sun on the patio while your mama enjoys a well-deserved Mom-osa!

Earls – 1185 Robson St.

Brunch at Earls #onRobson is all about the deals with a view! With Happy Hour and Brunch combined, along with their front and back patios opening up for the season – it’s the best of both worlds. From 10 am to 12 pm, Earls #onRobson has an $8 food menu and a $5 drink menu (including Earls Signature Caesars, Mimosas and Cold Brew Coffee + Baileys).  Where else can you find such amazing value…so go for it, order that second morning Mimosa!

Joe Fortes – 777 Thurlow St.

Brunch for a good cause at Joe Fortes this Mother’s Day, from 11 am – 3:30 pm! Make sure to get a seat up on their rooftop patio and we definitely suggest indulging in one of their delicious eggs benny creations. Get your fill and feed good, as partial food proceeds will be donated to Sheway, a pregnancy outreach program in Downtown Eastside Vancouver.
